Some are naive enough to think that the German government's decision (by law)to phase out of nuclear by 2022 is set in stone. Can I point out that governments change over time and so do laws. I think reality will hit home for Germany as they continue to haemorrhage financially in the current European economic disaster.
BTW when is the next German election? I'm not sure the German people will be too thrilled to re-endorese Merkel given the current situation. Let's see then just how sure we are that the German people want out of nuclear as energy shortages become more common.
Q: Can Germnay truly afford to find 23% of its' energy from alternative sources in the near future?
