The opposition is not playing hardball.Sending unaccompanied children to Malaysia is completely unethical. Wilkie said he doesn't support it. Who knows how the other independents or Labor members would if put to the test. Surely some would have a conscience or would all the comrades stick together as usual.
Praying that boat people don't take the dangerous journey? It is their decision to be the customers of smugglers and therefore their responsibility. Mostly,they are wealthy people making a choice. Let us not romanticize it.
