Sorry to disagree cgt but the budget paper was pretty clear this is not appropriated money until a specific agency, with I presume a specific line item, is confirmed.
This $50B is just the first overrun estimate. It will get much larger. $80B has been my estimate (2x original cost plus this government's incompetence to add further 10%) and I think it will end up pretty close to that.
This project is not value for money.
