learn to treat each of your holdings with suspicion and mild disdain. always remember that first chance it gets it'll go against you hard, usually the day after you've doubled up on it. or if it REALLY wants to mess with you, the day after you dump a recalcitrant holding, the stock goes the other way and the loss you just crystallised is recovered in a couple days.... if you hadn't sold that is.
treat your holdings this way and you'll always be more than pleased to give a holding the boot when the time is right... shaft the stock and flip it for a profit before it gets the chance to shaft you!
