Evan -- I agree wholeheartedly with you about the announcement. I also agree that they flagged no upfront payment, so that was no surprise. What they NEVER flagged though was the prospect of them essentially doing it all themselves with contractors.They definitely have known that that was a serious option for some months now. The market was primed for a deal with a big pharma. They should have made it known sometime ago that the current proposal was seriously on the table. I do actually believe that this could be a brillant way forward, but it has been handled extremely badly in the lead up and the announcement was extremely poor without any details on how it will work. I hope they now get off their bottoms and get some media interest happening...
