    Guys,

Thats not quite correct. The continuous disclosure rules provide exemptions for situation whereby the release of information might compromise a negotiation in progress. This said, the announcements seem pretty clear and I can't see that they are holding back. They have said plain as day that there is insufficient presure to push anything to the surface and they need to put it on pump to get the stuff out. What specifically will come out is obviously unknown until the pump starts running but with a couple of million pounds of frac fluid still down there we know at least one thing that will be coming to the surface.

Sorry guys, but I don't think Tezza is looking to buy back land from CHK and risk the cash that they wisely raised by selling it in the first place. That cash is critical to the well development plan for the existing fields and blowing it now on buying back the lower quality land that we didn't want in the first place would seem a little silly wouldn't it ?

I expect Defender will produce oil in coming weeks. Won't be in the thousands per day as some predicted but I do think it will produce something. Fact is the company don't know what it will produce until the pump is running. They are in the same boat as us, holding their breath and hoping for the best result just as per final stages of any well. Its not flowing under its own presure like the bakken wells do but thats not to say it won't produce.

Its a shame that both SoA and Defender have suffered delays at the same time. That really has knocked the confidence of some. Not surprising given expectations were high. If / when either well starts producing the bounce should be significant.

Oh, and re arlberg1's statement "For the SP to drop like that, Someone obviously knows something", no doubt this is correct. These people do know something that they didn't seem to know before. They now know that they don't have the balls to wait a few more weeks and see what is actually produced from these wells.
