I thought today's announcement was a cruel joke by the stock gods. Mt Fischer grades were encouraging but there were no spectacular hits...In this market you need spectacular. As for Marqua I always worry when a speccie describes their early interpretation of the grades as "significant". "Bonanza" or "Spectacular" are always the sort of adjectives you want to hear....

....all that aside Mt Fischer and Marqua were always gonna be the support bands and I bought my ticket to see the main act.... but how cruel has this rain been ?? All that good ground work last year...first the deal with Rio Tinto, then suring up the other surrounding leases and then the piece de resistance...to snag the Teck deal and that is the thing that has been of interest to me......

......but last wet season was exceptional. On a good year field work can commence by mid march....this year it wasn't until June. Teck was in there doing the prelim work....all necessary but not the sort of thing that drives share prices. Finally, by all rights, we had 6 weeks left in the field season and we get 5 times the average Novemember rain......so now we wait for this wet season to end with our holes half dug.

IMO opinion the only blemish on the record of this company in the last 14 months was when Mr Dickson sold a large parcel of shares. Besides that they have delivered everything promised and within a time frame that was to the best of their ability given meteorlogical conditions.

But we have has to endure the external forces of flood, Tsunami and the collapse of the western Monatary system.

So what next.......
