I definitely do hold stocks at this time (I actually have more longs than shorts right now) because I'm expecting intervention in the very short term by policy makers before the next huge leg down, which I think is inevitable. I just don't hold stocks which I think are screwed, like FMG.
If you were to go long, why wouldn't you long precious metals?
