London flats produced 8 bbls of oil many years ago I think it was 2006, fracking technology still in its infancy, they didnt even hit their target in the sweet spot and very little proppant used.
Fast forward nov 2011
Defender just a stones throw away from London Flats, the difference this time around.
We are armed with 3D Seismic and Haliburton pumping 3,000,000 pounds of proppant into the dead centre of their target.
Theres definately oil there thats a fact, it will be commercial IMO its just boils down to how commercial.
SOA. Terry will find a way of getting through the salt dome theres no doubt about it, what lyes beneath is either h2o or oil Terry thinks its the sweet black stuff, I tend to agree.
For now we might have to make do with some lower numbers from the muddy sands, but its still money making oil that pays for the day to day bills,so until we find a way through the tricky salt dome patience is required.
Fort Peck, you could go on and on buts its late and the beer is starting to take its toll.
So goodnight folks its getting late, but just remembered about another well getting fracked in a few weeks i think its in that place they call the Bakken, isnt it something like 95%of wells are sucessfull, yes time for bed now the manipulators games are nearly over.
