We are all entitled to an independent view AJ007. All I did was present a "fair market value" for the Magnolia stake based on a recent market transaction as compared to the "expected return" approach, which I have openly stated I think is blarney (thats a personal opinion, I could be wrong, I dont claim to be an expert but will put on a good debate!).
You might personally think it is worth more (all of us shareholders want it to be) but I think you will find a recent market transaction is a pretty good guideline as any. And if there is a significant difference to another valuation method which would rather believe? The highest?
The reality is that "the market" will tend to value NWE's stake in Magnolia higher and higher as drilling gets closer due to the speculative bubble that will build up beforehand. Does this make the stake more valuable? No not at all. You dont really know the value of anything until you try and sell it.
