May we ask what could happen to Anvil's mine permit if they refused to provide equipment as requested to the Government when there was a rebellion to be put down?
In addition, if you are operating a business in a foreign country, you need to have good relations with the Government to minimise sovereign risk.
That means a company doesn't publicly criticise the Government, particularly if it is a place like the Congo.
We saw what happened to Yukos in Russia when they had a disagreement with the Russian Government.
