If you don't think this is a bear market have a look at the S&P400 index of US midcaps for the past year and half. The October high stopped just shy of the topping pattern. Couldn't even get inside it. I hadn't had a look at this for a while and was surprised at what I saw. The bear will be 7 months young tomorrow. Did a new bull start on 4 October? That would be a very short bear at 5 months. The probabilities are stacked up against it.
