I would put to you that there is no such thing as a "real picture of the meeting".
There are, instead, PERCEPTIONS of what happened at the meeting. Your account is one perception. The other accounts we have heard are also perceptions. No-one has a monopoly on what is "correct in their summation".
Each reader can decide for themselves which writer's perceptions are closest to the truth.
