Carls, I'll decline your offer to enter into the "Israel" debate. I only reluctantly entered this one because I assume that many HCites are unaware of the "totallity" of war. I was born during the war but the bitterness, hostility, movies and novels made an indellible impression me for the next 30yrs. I believe my father and uncles were heroes who should not be betrayed. An unsavoury aspect of war is internment of "subversives". All warring nations do it. Italians and Japanese were herded into camps here even though many of them would have worn our uniform with pride. Cowra was famous for a Japanese breakout. So to your question; Yes we should inter "possible enemies" but I think Snooks is safe because I doubt that Mossad did the Towers or Kuta beach.
