"You mean to evolve into all the dog species in the world???

And of course, that would happen in the lifetime of those two "wolf type creatures"? And what about in-breeding? Or is that how the shitzu came about?

And the two little elephant type creatures... how did that work?
Not only did they have to produce all the various species of elephantine animals, they somehow needed to distribute them around the world as well.
And how do you account for the genetic difference between the African elephant and the Indian elephant? They are actually so genetically disparate they are considered two species and cannot interbreed!"

Mate, you're confusing evolution with natural selection again.

The wolf creatures wouldnt have "evolved" into dogs. After their spreading and breeding, certain groups of the animal would have been isolated, greatly restricting the gene variety, resulting in separate dog species.

Same deal with elephants. Isolation would have retsricted gene variety, and given us two different types of elephants that cant breed with eachother. No evolution there. Just natural selection taking away genes.
