Best to do your own research, try to find the BBC "The Ascent of Money", or maybe Google "the history of Fiat currencies". They all basically occur coz politicians promise more than they can deliver, then they borrow to pay for the promises, then find they can't pay the creditors, so pay them back in devalued money. Unfortunately, almost always, this includes wars (heard of any wars lately?)
Your whole premise is faulty, you believe by pulling certain levers (printing Fiat paper, setting interest rates etc) that a Govts can manipulate the economy/markets. Russia was the last to fail. Only free markets (letting those that screw up go bankrupt etc) has worked so far. You may think the Fed and Govts worldwide can manipulate their way out this time (for the first time ever) but I very much doubt it.
