Not sure what all the panic is here boys and girls, on reading this announcement I clearly saw this as an opportunity to unlock some value in the HAW vehicle and make it more attractive to LCY. With the Indian's on board LCY has no interest in the gold and will most likely divest itself of its own gold assets in the future as they have been alluding to via spin-offs.

At the end of the day this has been done for a reason and the proposed restructure cleans up HAW and will no doubt parachute all HAW directors/execs into roles with the New Gold Play which they will need once LCY mops up the remaining 40% of Mt Bevan and kicks them to the curb.

This lets HAW directors save face, keep a pay packet and concentrate on the gold assets which was always been their intended focus correct me if I am wrong.

Just my interpretation, I hold HAW and LCY and will continue to do so as the game is just starting to get interesting - the next few months in my view will be a wild ride for holders of both stocks.
