hey 64, obviously the ratings agencies have lost a tonne of credibility as a result of the GFC, but unfortunately in the Global Financial framework we currently are bound by, their ratings can have a major effect on the cost of funding for both Sovereigns/Companies.
looks like SRI is going to have a nice pop on open :)
