I don't know the answer to where the root of terrorism lies. I could take a pretty good guess though - Israel and its existence as it stands today. That is it. As long as Israel exists the way it does today then the world will never be at peace because you have west v east. US support for Israel manifests itself in the terrorism you see today - simple.
Solution to that? Who knows?
