    Interesting discussion going on.

I am with forro - I don't have any reason to believe anything is going poorly or wrong or bad with CGM, but I would like more regular updates. I think it is beholden upon a public company to provide timely updates to the shareholders. We may not own as much as the Swick family, but we do own our individual respective holdings, and they are important.

I understand what gizard is saying, but I think his/her thinking is somewhat flawed. If Randal is interesting in selling the company at, say (making up numbers) 20 cents/share, then he best reaches that goal by providing timely updates. If he wants to sell at, say, 50 cents/share, then he best reaches that goal by providing timely updates. Effectively, any withholding hurts his "desire to sell the company" as much as anything and anyone else. That isn't to say it might not be his intention - but if it is, there are better ways to go about it.

My thoughts are that the depressed share price is unfortunate, but it has allowed me, at times, to accumulate more, and will allow me, at times, to accumulate more in the future: but overall I would like, where possible, to see the share price appreciate.

If Randal is in it for the long haul, then he could pay the shareholders dividends (1c/share would only cost $4,000,000, which isn't unreasonable, really, if we look at the revenue growth), or he can sell up and we all live pretty on the sale amount. If he's not, well, whatever. Either way, the share price, for him and us and everyone else, would go up with regular announcements.

Business as usual is always nice. But it's nicest when it's an established company doing their ordinary business. When it's a new company coming out of bad times and going into good times, well, it can't be business as usual - it needs to be regular announcements, spruiking, positive statements, and etc. I'm not asking for lying or exaggerating, just marketing.
