Could part of this spinoff be a strategy to make the Mt Bevan half of HAW more attractive for takeover? The scenario would be that the iron ore gets bought out to realise whatever value for its holders, and the rest of HAW survives to do what it's always done (nothing, lol)
Whatever the case, at least we can now see that they have some sort of plan in mind, which is more than we've had until now!
