I love the desperation....
that article should be compared to the current NBN scheme...initiated and managed by an incompetent govt....with no knowledge of the marketplace, just great 'pigs might fly' ideas...
it was doomed to fail...as is the NBN...it was simply a white elephant

political parties dont have the knowledge or expertise to embark on commercial enterprises, so when they do, it always ends in a huge economical failure

the Vic labor govt did the same thing in vic in the 70's...they thought they could decentralise a heap of govt departments to a large regional area...
they built this huge office building...cost 4 or 8 million dollars...it sat there vacant for 5 or 10 years...
because none of the public servants were prepared to move away from the safety of their city..to a regional location...

but in the quest to find an extreme story to support the 'bear theory', the more valid points of the story are lost in a maaze, or a haze of misunderstanding...

good try...but most viewers are more intelligent, and can see thru the haze, some are engulfed in...
