How about pointing out how inflation is now going to start - by all the US dollars printing that has been taking place, is taking place and will take place.

Using your own words, this massive increase in US dollars "dilutes" the value of the US dollar - so gold and anything else priced in US dollars will increase in value.

And as other major nations are also running easy money policies, gold will of course increase in value in their currencies, as they are also diluting the value/purchasing power of their paper currencies.
