There are a lot of sheep in the market.

It could be traders dumping ahead of the weekend, nervous nellies deciding to bail because they've seen some selling down, stop losses hit etc which then leads to panic.

If there IS bad news, CTP has to inform the market full stop. They can't sit on the news or delay it just because it doen't suit.

Likewise, they can't sit on good news either. I suspect, given the previous criticism of announcements, they are triple checking the results to ensure there can be no criticism that they have mislead the market.

The $64 question is whether they are good results or bad and we simply don't know at this stage.

Having said that, a 11% drop this morning is testing my nerves a tad.
