    I tend to agree.

Iron Valley is a great deposit, but it does not have long term commericalisation potential (not enough to support a company).

Selling Iron Valley to one of the neighbouring companies would yield substantial monies, and from there IOH could look to develop the Mt Dempster deposits. 2-3 billion tonnes of magnetite is a long term commercially viable quantity of ore, particularly given the proximity to rail and port infrastructre.

FMG would be the logical buyer of Iron Valley given the proximity of their operations and that both Mr Stokes and Mr Forrest and prominent WA businessmen. It would seem to be a win-win situation for both men/companies.

I also have to say, that Mr Stokes's strategy of holding over 50% over the shares adds to this company's prospects. Having a substantial holding effectively prevents any takeover attempt by other parties, and leaves IOH free to develop their deposits without intense market speculation as to the company's ultimate fate.
