    Andy we agree :)

Pug we agree as well its just that for the USD to lose credibility as outlined there would have to be a responsible fiscally well managed strong economy that was at least a rival of the US militarily. All reserve currencies fall eventually, eventually isnt yet, Rome had plenty of tough times during the 600 year Roman empire, they eventually succumbed when their military became week, but jeezus they had a few close calls along the way.

A fully fledged war between China and the USA would last less than 2 weeks. Make no mistake, the US will hold its reserve currency status at the end of the barrel of a gun if required.

The forces at play here are colossal, they push aside any geopolitical niceties or rules, we are entering a period of rolling emergency. If there is an heir apparent (and make no mistake an heir apparent is necessary to lose reserve status) who can name the challenger? No country in the world is strong, none has the ability to challenge and the US has all the guns and gold. Truly....if this were a game of strategy who's side would you choose if you had that choice?
