The rise in ANP coincided with the 10% rally in ASX equities, a.k.a "risk-on".
...and judging by this forum and the level of anamosity, many, many people care if it drops.
I would hazard a guess there are now many Hotcopper posters who are severely underwater on ANP after listening to all the chartists rabble regarding "5c tommorrow" etc.
