Just a quick summary of "possible" announcements, for interest.
1. Next set of drilling results AN, AS and possibly Conceicao geochemical samples reported
2. Sale of Trindade North. Just HAS to happen right now... so AVB can progress... cash is the key. Cryptic comment about.. moving from explorer to developer expected SOON, supports this outcome.
3. New advanced tenement No 1 (ref Flurnt post) furnas?
4. OR... New advanced tenement No 2 (ref Flurnt post) jazida de cobra?
5. Regulatory approval to drill at Conceicao (after which time AVB must drill 1500m in a year)
6. JORC end-March (I do not personally consider T/O at this early point as even a possibility so it is not listed)
7. Approval of Rio Verde East tenement
8. BIF joint venture with Vale??! (Rio Verde) If Vale are actively looking to explore for Iron Ore then the BIF at Rio Verde must rate highly. It appears to be located primarily on AVB's tenement with any possible longer easterly extension being on AVB's RV East prospect (Still under application). From Flurnt's map it appears that any southerly extension could be on Vale's prospect. So between the two friendly-forces it is locked up.

shows the SE corner of RV coloured blue and listed as magnetic oxide facies (not faeces!) BIF-Carajas formation. Magetite perhaps. Some very impressive Fe rock-chip samples were taken here but I cannot locate the results at present.
As AVB already have the Exploration Permit (which legally can be partially assigned to Vale) for RV, then scout drilling can commence immediately on the RV property. Perhaps some aerial magnetic survey data is already available to assist targeting..
With a very successful AVB-Vale partnership behind them at Trindade North, then it would be a piece of cake to extend the existing Agreement on basically the same terms as TN to cover the RV-BIF prospect. Easy.
It is consistent with TP's cryptic comment.... new Fe discoveries would not be unexpected in the Carajas. OK where better to find such new FE discoveries than at AVB's BIF? why mention it if it did not affect AVB?
Anyway.... it is listed as a Possibility at this stage.
9. News that a decision to Trial Mine has been taken and activities in support (off-take, procurement, specs, works) has been initiated. This is really pending item 2. above but it needs to happen now so planning and pre-production activity can happen over the wet season. TP has said to me he does not want to mine during the wet unless it is unavoidable.
Maybe I have missed other items that are potential announcements ??
There are always the good old Appendix 3b's which get the adrenalin going for a few minutes....
2012 is going to be a Huge Year for Avanco. All those share tipsters reported here by avb-posters cannot be wrong.
