This is a general response to all above kind comments. I hope I do not over complicate this but there is another story which is helping spreading distrust & intollerance around the world.
1. For starters the english language has vitually gone beyond a lingua franca and will not recede. 2. The latinic alphabet is more widespread than parsi, hindi , or han chinese type characters.
This means everyone else is really doing it hard in the worldviews area. They are at a strategic disadvantage and there will eventually be more backlash on its way.
I try hard to respect the notion all languages, cultures & systems are equally deserving of respect but the UN & tower of babel make it difficult to put into practice any of these notions whilst those that descended from ancient rome & greece keep getting better & better & leave rest for dead.
So is all this mess my or our or Australia's fault. I suspect the fault is in the past failings of individuals & leaders in other cultures who could not get their act together for their own peoples.
