On Friday I mentioned the relative strength of Lynas; the reversal pattern on a down day (did not fully reverse as I made my call during trade); and the percentage of up volume in Lynas in proportion to the high downside volume in the market. These TA factors are largely missed in VSA's simplistic view and they are good TA factors that say Lynas goes up Monday. That was my view Friday BEFORE the strong Wall St. lead. But now I'll say we outperform the greater market beyond our beta to give the call gravitas.

As expected Lynas outperformed the ASX, the mining sector, other Aussie rare earths, and it's beta. Volume is still OK for mid-December and the late rally as the market leveled is reason for optimism. We opened and closed near the top of the range. I think we consolidate and then move higher and breakout of the range this time.
