I am led to believe that the 2 main reason Zari s'holders have taken up shares in Peak, and therefore investing in the company,(assuming of course the deal concludes - and we will know that on 23/12) is because they anticipate a takeover.I think that the SP at the time the contract was entered into was in the high 40s (stand to be corrected). That SP would therefore be their deemed buying price. They wouldn't want to get out below that price would they? That's a bottom-liner for sure and they would be looking at multiples of that figure.

The shares to be issued to the CBs will not be constrained by an escrow condition and therefore they could be sold at any time. But they will want to squeeze all the blood they can out of this beast. I don't see them as a problem. I also reckon they would be in cahoots with AH. They go back a fair way I believe. It was AH's company Pan African Resources (acquired by Peak) that had an existing business relationship with Zari at the time of acquisition, but as to how far back I don't know. Nevertheless I would guess they would have a firm business relationship.

All continues to looks good. Now to get the SP re-booted.
