Just reading Climate spectator this morning and Giles Parkinson(take with a big grain of salt)however he makes the point about the huge cost of upgrading the grid($45billion over 5 years)to cope with centralised power(nuclear).This is part of the $240billion over 20 years and he also says that $45billion is every 5 years so will be a large chunk of the $240 billion.
This cost can be cut if we adopt de-centralised power(bluegen) which if taken into the equation make cfu's products cheap.That is yet another reason why imo large power generation of any type is a thing of the past.
