Whether it take 10yrs or 100yrs - it just makes total sense to have a power source at the point of use. Transfering power is in-efficient & the only reason why it is done is because the technology and cost has prevented otherwise. We were all told 30 yrs ago that smoking was ok for you - but when you stop and think about it - sucking smoke into your lungs can not be good. Transfering power all over the country - when you could have the power source on location - just makes sense - just stop and think about it. But like the smoking campaigns - you may need to wait 30 yrs ... and then some. Esp: when there are vested interests everywhere that WIN / LOOSE from different points of view. My only concerns are the wheels turn slow.
