The board's responsibility is ultimately to the ords holders.
If suspension of both divis is to the benefit of ppx holders, hard to see how they could justify not doing it.

The proposal I suggested above,however, aims to give each side something.
The savings to ppx of abolishing the stepup make it viable long term funding, and probably give the pxu's a long term value[presuming divis eventually return] of about $70 as well as a short term boost.
It may also give the ppx ords a boost with dilution by conversion of the pxu's, or stepped up divis costing heaps, less of a threat.
As I said, I would certainly vote for such a change.
