Yes SRF the world is a dymanic place & things change with time or course there can always be justifications of why things have turned more highly in favour for the comapny at this point but there can also be speculation, while yes Pfizer moved on Excaliard for an undisclosed sum (although i do think much like I have previously mentioned any move on ANP would be - a smallish up-front payment & they greater part conditional on milestones being achieved - Big Pharma don't throw big sums at products still in early to mid stage of development but they will pay enough to get their grip on the company SHOULD it prove succesful in time. On that note though just because one ISIS compound has had shown exciting outcomes & garnered the interest of a major it is certainly not evidence that the other compounds will peform the same. As you liked linking oil companies with Bio's I guess the best example could be made here assuming a field with 24 drill targets if 1 strikes oil does that mean the other 23 will also come through with the same result ? Of course not - but it does show promise for what else may be there.

Anyway as i said just be carefull - think about what has really changed & the value it represents, how it compares with peers. Placing it on a "totally different level now" hmmmm not so sure about that.
