    an oiler produces a commodity...there will be a guaranteed market for it if it flows

    a biotech can go through phase I, II, III but there is no guarantee of commercial success even if the drug reaches market...look at Biota.

    this isn't a downramp I am just saying I don't think your analogy is quite correct using probabilities of success and it applies across all biotechs.
