I don't think it is fair to describe the seeming delay in GCN's WiFi to be another broken promise.
GCN and P1 don't promise. They use phrases such as "expected by". I refer to the dates expected for such events as the P1 valuation, distribution of P1 shares, listing of P1 (and possibly the cornerstone investor, though I don't recall whether an expected date was given for that).
Maybe we should recommend to the editors of the Oxford English Dictionary that they have a new entry for 'expected': "Unlikely to happen by".
Actually the used by date has not technically expired for some of the events expected. Could there be an end of year rush? That would knock some of the naysayers on their heads, but not mine - I want to see evidence of revenue before I jump back in again.
