what is your trading story?, page-14

I was a late starter, spent too much of my early years partying. Got into shares when I was near broke based on a tip from a trusted source who by incredable luck may have come across some very useful info. I had but a thousand dollars and got in about an hour before the trading halt emerged after the weekend with about 4500K and I was addicted. Got myself an online account, and enrolled in the School of Hard Knocks.
I've bought companies that cannot fail only to watched them go into administration. Alcohol saw me buy BMN instead of BRN, and thinking the ordered had failed to load I've bought two parcels of the one stock. Made a lot of money on EMI, discovered the benifits of having a stop loss whilst on holidays and learnt about charts. Still have the day job so dont DT.
I still like to party and can push my 50 year old chasis a little too hard a little too often. I enjoy researching my shares and still have a lot to learn.
