imo tls enjoyed a spike due to a very short perception interest rates were on the way down, but that perception was dampened as it became obvious banks would not follow rba from now on,in fact as ralph said rates could go up (equals tls going down)due to increased capital requirements by banks and the euro banking crisis.ps re tls's push into japan, singapore, india someone posted how could tls compete in a global nfc world, well i don't understand how tls feels it can compete or make money in these markets directly against global giants. If i was tls i'd b trying to secure my current markats by introducing applications in aus,hk and nz to intertwine as much as possible of business and personal everyday functions eg banking telecommunications etc that it makes it difficult for these global giants to introduce new applications in australia etc if these new applications are already in the market and intertwined with daily functions and other services already provided by tls.
