Merry Xmas to all of you. Some Xmas hey? It's a blood bath out there!
Try and remain calm and remember that you are holding the best valued junior coal exploration call option with no expiry date. It's almost like holding gold except for the value the market currently places upon it. If you can't handle the heat get out of the fire.
Just let it all play out. The longer it stays at these levels and lower the better chance the Chinese will gobble us up. I have taken Xstrata off my list of potential suitors.
We may soon get to under 2 cents EV't. The market is brutal right now. More so the MTE market.
I'm now thinking out aloud and would love to get some thoughts and feedback on whether MTE is or not a takeover target in the near future.
I believe the Chinese may gobble us up in time because MTE has such thick seams at depth that is conducive to their longwall top coal caving system.
"low investment, high productivity and high economic benefit"
Has anyone ever wonder why Sinocoal were digging up to 500m at Columboola?
Sinocoal, China National Coal, Yancoal, Yanzhou, they are just one of the same, all owned by the Chinese government.
I expect 2012 to be the year of consolidation for coal companies.
MTE may be in play next year if they can get a definite rail and port solution but in reality that is many many months away as it is for many other coal exploration companies in Queensland.
