Yes ben the SP will go up by 10 x but the market cap remains the same which means you now hold 10 x less shares. i.e if you hold 100,000 shares at 10c after consolidation you will hold 10,000 shares at $1.
Sounds dangerous to me and to release to market on a 100 point down day is interesting also..
