I'd hate to think the current downgrade & proposed restructuring - followed by the unrelenting selling today - spells the end of Billabong.
FRom memory the SP hit a low of $3 late September. It then rallied to nearly $4.50 in mid November. A 50% gain in a short period. A pretty strong rebound IMO.
A brand with global reach and awareness isn't going to disappear in a flash. Billabong's business would definitely complement some of the major players in the clothing /apparel business. Surely someone will be eyeballing this company right now.
How low the SP goes - and if there is a possible rebound - s anyones guess.
Good luck.
