    Play2Win, your last paragraph says it all. I totally agree. I can never understand why we kow tow to Indonesia. We even stood by during the invasion of East Timor and allowed Indonesia to commit all sorts of atrocities against the East Timorese for 25 years. But then we found oil in the Timor Gap, so that was ok. The Indonesian special forces that we trained here at Swanbourne in WA ran away like schoolgirls when the Australian army went to reclaim East Timor so we could negotiate a deal for the oil. Oh, those 5 Australian journalists that the Indonesian military murdered?? A temporary inconvenience to our diplomats. Let's not even mention the trials and tribulations that the people of West Papua are undergoing at the hands of the Indonesians as we sit here.
    Unfortunately, corruption is the national pastime of Indonesiam authorities and Australian governments of ALL persuasions seem unable or unwilling to deal effectively with these people.

    Why is that???
