Oh Dear,
i wondered whether to bother commenting.Oh well here goes.
Fml,is like a farmer.with his normal productive fields and he's just bought a few extra ones in from the bush to treble last years production. They cost more to service, water and all and involved spending cash he had in the bank.
If the weather holds,he gets a good crop.If the price holds,he makes good money, because he's taken the risk to expand, seeing the world demanding his produce,he's got 3x,yip three times last years on the way. He's likely to reap a bumper crop, although a costly one for the extra produced, atleast for the first year, new fields and all costing that extra to get into shape.
It all depends on the PRICE HE GETS ON THE DAY HE GOES TO MARKET.Luckily,he's selling at the market every day of the year,so there's plenty of cash coming in.
Looks like he's done everyting right upto now,or we wouldn't be here, would we and already the goods are selling for $300 an ounce above last years start and he's harvesting daily and delivering to the market for sale as we speak.
IS THERE AN ISSUE?
If the price of gold collapses, all goldies are in trouble and he'll only harvest what's PROFITABLE and let the other fields SIT for a better year and go into NST mode.If it holds its own,He's in the money.
Those with concerns should realise, high grade ore is mined by FOCUS EMPLOYEES.Lowgrade by CONTRACTORS,with rolling contracts, here today and gone tomorrow,IF NEED BE.
Unlike others, FOCUS is,here today and ready for a BAD TOMORROW when it comes, with enough resource to keep going for years without any further exploration costs.Along with three NEW pits opened up and now ON THE ORE,for limited future development costs on producing ore bodies.
McFocus can cut costs considerably if it had too in a downturn. That's why i continue to call it a low cost producer hiding under expansionary expenses.DYOR+DYODD
LOOK AT THE COMPANIES EXPENDITURE ON ALL THINGS and you'll see what could be removed, with the swipe of an accountants pen, along with a stop of expansion and greenfields exploration.
COMPARE THAT TO OTHERS and FML doesn't look so cold compared to e.g. NST ongoing, considering the others higher grades and deliberate lack and avoidance of expenditure on those expenses, while deliberately managing it's per ounce costs DYOR+DYODD,which have kept cash in the bank and their mill at half speed, whereas McFocus has cleaned up its site and reduced future environmental clean up costs at the same time as killing it's per ounce costs and extracing gold with it's spare capacity, all at a minor profit on the extra production as well.
FML isn't cold,it could be hot, very very hot without TI without any massive new strike, just a small shift in grade.
If you think it'll do a little better than that, then maybe you see it as MILD,WARM or even INDIAN HOT.I know someone who's confidently sure what.
Steamrollers getting up steam again, after getting a stone stuck in a gear.Toot Toot.
DYOR+DYODD Merry Xmas to all
