For example, I was reading some posts where someone kept insisting that printing massive amounts of US dollars is not inflationary.

No thanks. I'm not going to keep reading that sort of stuff and let someone try and persuade me about economic witchcraft - that dollar inflation and so dollar devaluation has no inflationary consequences.
