I suppose day to day there will be some pushing and shoving, toing and froing between our market and the US so let's look at the bigger picture. If you had converted all your AUDs into USDs at the depth of the GFC and put it all into the US market and then sold at the peak this year and converted all your USDs back into AUDs would you have been better off ???....... I think maybe not.
