Time to crack open the cone of silence and let us know what is happening in Senegal.
Why would Ophir want/ask for an extension, just to say no?
What further information has come to light in the extension period to convince Ophir to walk away?
If it was a company matter and not the Senegal data, then Ophir or FAR should be able to pass that information on.
ME needs to make a statement about this whole (2+ years) process. How many have kicked the tyres and said no thanks? Is it only the decree that has potential JVPs spooked, or is it our worst nightmare and the data is flawed?
Have all the suitors come to the conclusion that there is no commercially recoverable oil in our Senegal blocks!!!
