If you mean the price of livestock (cattle that is), you are dead right. Good to see and never too soon either. After all, all costs of farming are going through the roof and never seems to slow down either. I know that this is not part of MPO and I hope that the mods will let it go through, but there is nothing much else to say. Unless we want to continue bagging our Board and Management, of course. The other day I had to get a header mechanich to repair my header that had something caught in it, and when I got the bill, I nearly fell over backwards. When I queried how much an hour they charge, (Which does not appear in their bills any longer just in case it frighten the living light out of you), they replied that they had to increase their rates to compete against the mines around, because all the mechanics are leaving in droves to go to the mines where they'd get better pay. So, while the mines are bringing wealth to where they operate, the towns around and the farming communities are copping it sweat as well with costs increases.
Anyway, have a Merry Xmas everyone and let's hope that this new lot of Management will give us a very good Xmas present to us all.
