Interesting that technically, the Santa rally occurs during the last 5 trading days of December and the first 2 trading days of January.

So it starts on Friday in the US, that could be in keeping with the chart if it can get over the resistance at 12200ish.

While Xmas is usually a positive period, when it’s negative it’s a bad sign for the following year. For example, the Santa rally was negative in 2000 and 2007.
