ronstieb, the Evans Shoal partners have to drill a well in NT/P48 in 2012, it is part of the permit retention conditions.
It is likely that 3-4 wells will be drilled between NT/P48&68 in 2012. Heron3 is firm, Blackwood2 is probable (the whole purpose of the Bathurst Seismic survey), Heron4 depending on the success of Heron3, and at least one well at Evans Shoal.

The comments of prosperman are comical. MEO have been unlucky with both Zeus and Artemis, these were both wildcats.
In terms of NT/P68, MEO has an enviable record. Two sole-risked wells, two discoveries. This is almost unheard of for a company of MEO's size in 2008 sole-risking two wells. A few months ago Eni discovered 22Tcf in Mozambique, they know what they are doing and they are backing MEO here.
